Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Multiple Locations in US

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our clients team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, with proven experience in managing financial operations and job costing. While experience with Epicor ERP is preferred, we are looking for a proactive financial leader who can oversee all accounting functions, drive process improvements, and provide strategic guidance to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Develop and monitor financial metrics, budgets, and forecasts to support business decisions and drive financial performance.

Lead job costing and inventory management processes, providing insights into cost control and profitability.

Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP, presenting findings to senior management.

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.

Collaborate with department managers to support financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis.

Provide guidance on financial issues, offering strategic insights that drive operational efficiencies.

Work closely with external auditors and tax advisors, managing audits and tax filings.

Utilize ERP systems, preferably Epicor, to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

5+ years of experience in a Controller or senior accounting role within the manufacturing industry.

Strong job costing experience and a deep understanding of manufacturing financial processes.

Experience with Epicor ERP or other ERP systems preferred.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
