Job Description:

The QA Administrator helps launch business operations and activities that keeps maintenance operations moving forward. They are responsible for all administrative functions and associated materials for the aircraft maintenance department including data entry and assisting the Chief Inspector with administrative functions. In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing management information systems to maintain aircraft forms and records as required
  • Ensuring repair station work orders and forms are completed prior to releasing aircraft or products to service
  • Ensuring compliance with AD’s, SB’s, and time sensitive items
  • Completing form 337’s and 8130’s as required
  • Assist with proper inspection records, reports, and forms used by the maintenance department and confirm they are properly executed on a timely basis, prior to releasing aircraft for return to service
  • Perform compilation of data, reconciliation of documents, and collection of information; this entails a combination of word processing, database management, electronic spreadsheet, electronic mail, electronic calendar, and other types of office automation software
  • Process and/or transcribe various written communication into proper format, with the responsibility for correct spelling, grammar, capitalization, and punctuation
  • Scanning FAA documents and work orders from customer files to electronic aircraft files
  • Maintaining and distributing aircraft maintenance schedule daily
  • Supporting maintenance and QA team as necessary

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of administrative experience
  • 2+ years experience with data entry
  • Advanced in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, with the ability to learn new software applications
  • Strong typing skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Professional manner and a strong ethical code
  • Commitment to working efficiently and accurately
  • Strong interest in learning about the Aviation industry
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
