McCallum Rock Drilling (MRD) is a rock drilling and blasting contractor based out of Chehalis, WA, that has been in business since 1988. MRD operates in commercial quarries, timberlands and construction sites throughout the Western US. 

MRD is seeking a full-time Class A CDL Lowboy Driver to operate out of the Chehalis, WA territory. The primary function is to load, unload, and transport various types of heavy equipment to company job sites. The applicant must have an active DOT Medical Card, a clean driving record, and will be expected to pass a pre-employment drug test.  

Minimum responsibilities include: 

• Safely complies with all MRD policies and procedures 
• Operate lowbed trailer safely and efficiently on public highways and logging roads representing MRD in a professional manner 
  
• Ability to report all equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel 
• Desire to keep truck and trailer maintained and clean 
• Ability to operate equipment for loading and unloading with little to no supervision 
• Ability to strap and chain the load safely and securely 
• Perform daily pre and post trip inspections 
  

Minimum skills and qualifications include: 

• Class a CDL License with active DOT Medical Card 
• Clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations within last 3 years)
• Clean background (no felonies)
• Must pass pre-employment drug test 
• Applicant must be reliable 
• Must have reliable transportation to home base 
  
• Exercises good time management skills 
• Safety conscience
• Self-motivated
