Contract Manager

Contract Manager (Full Time)
POSITION SUMMARY:
It is the responsibility of this position to work closely with the Division Vice President to assure contract obligations are fulfilled. The Contract Manager works closely with division VP in assisting in the infrastructure management of the division including but not limited to advising on budget preparation, contract management and ensuring the full implementation so as to meet the needs of the program. Requests for Proposals, contracts, and reporting are monitored by the person in this position. Contract Manager also works closely with Vice President on a variety of projects, such as accreditation coordination, and is expected to have good communication and professional skills to work with other managers in the agency. The contract manager represents the division in various agency committees as needed.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree preferred but consideration will be given for job related experience. Desired qualities include:
- Understanding of agency programs and related funding sources.
- Ability to work independently and with others to fulfill contract requirements and meet agency needs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, outside funding source representatives, and managers.
- Capacity to multi-task, while remaining detail oriented and focused on timeliness of documentation.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Office 365
- Knowledge of State organizations serving children and families.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Critical thinker, problem solving ability, good communication skills(oral and written), proficient in computer skills, working independently and autonomously, work with others as part of multi-disciplinary team, flexible and responsive to changing needs in real time.
Be mobile, have transportation, represent VP at meetings as needed.
