TITLE: ACTIVATION SPECIALIST (BILINGUAL – SPANISH)

DAYS/HOURS: MON – FRI (MULTIPLE SHIFTS) TYPE: PERMANENT

WORK MODEL: REMOTE – Anywhere in the U.S.

COMPENSATION: $18 – $20 per Hour

JOB SUMMARY

Our client is a Health and Life Insurance Brokerage firm seeking to hire a Welcome Activation Specialist. You will be the first point of contact for clients immediately after they sign up for a health insurance policy. Your primary responsibility is to ensure clients are fully informed about their new insurance policy, understand how to use the company health marketplace app, and understand the benefits of having the agency service their needs. You will foster meaningful relationships, and ensure clients feel confident and well-served in managing their health insurance needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify client needs and provide tailored solutions while fostering loyalty.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all products and services.
  • Deliver precise information about plan benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Verify client applications for compliance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve Level 1 escalations.
  • Re-process declined payments to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Promote and cross-sell a wide range of products and services.
  • Assist members with policy-related inquiries and application usage.
  • Work with multiple systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy and privacy.
  • Send personalized welcome emails to new members.
  • Approach service and sales with composure, integrity, and compassion.
  • Stay informed about the health industry and innovations.

    Required Skills:

    • Must be fluent in Spanish.
    • Ability to work with colleagues, teams, leaders, and as an individual contributor.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think tactfully.
    • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Well-versed with computer skills, including an understanding of Office/Google Suites.
    • Exceptional customer service skills, including active listening, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to remain composed under pressure while maintaining a positive and customer-centric approach.

      Certifications & Experience:

    • Health and/or Life Insurance License – must have held one at some point in your career or be currently active.
    • Minimum requirement of one year or more of prior experience in Customer Service-related roles.·

      Other Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • The position requires visual focus and concentration in front of a computer screen for the duration of the shift.
