Summer Camp Counselor
If you love working with kids in a fun and active environment, The Children's Gym Summer Camp is the place for you. The Children's Gym is a non-competitive, recreational gymnastics facility with over 12,000 square feet of equipment space located in the heart of Northeast Portland.
During the summer we hold camps for children 3.5 to 12 years old. We are looking for energetic, hard-working employees to lead these camp groups with the potential to extend employment based on interest and performance. As a camp counselor at TCG you would lead a group of 8-10 students through various activities such as open gym in our facility, group games at the park, crafts, meal times, and much more. No experience in gymnastics is required.
Our summer program runs from June 17- Late August. Learn more about our summer camps here. Please note most of the information may be related to summer 2023 but the overall details will be the same for this year.
This position is strongly recommended for high school or college students looking for employment that gives them the opportunity to grow in their teaching and communication skills with young children. No prior experience is necessary to apply, but resumes with babysitting, camp counseling, or child education will stand out.
