Patient Accounts Receivable Representative | Oklahoma City, OK

Salary Range:$17-$19 per hour

Job Type: Full-time


We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. Job Responsibilities:

  1. Billing and Invoicing:
  • Generate and submit accurate and timely invoices to patients for healthcare services rendered.
  • Review and verify billing information to ensure completeness and compliance with billing regulations.
  1. Follow-up on Outstanding Accounts:
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding patient accounts.
  • Communicate with patients to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies.
  1. Payment Processing:
  • Record and process payments received from patients, insurance companies, and other sources.
  • Reconcile payments with outstanding balances and update records accordingly.
  1. Insurance Verification:
  • Verify insurance coverage and benefits to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  1. Customer Service:
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients regarding billing inquiries and concerns.
  • Educate patients on billing processes, insurance coverage, and payment options.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient accounts, payments, and communications.
  • Generate reports on accounts receivable status and communicate findings to management.
  1. Adherence to Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing standards.
  • Stay informed about changes in billing and coding guidelines.
