Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles and machinery. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of vehicles and equipment, contributing to the smooth operation of our organization.
 
  • Diagnose mechanical issues: Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify problems with engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other components.
  • Repair and maintain vehicles: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Conduct major repairs including engine overhauls, transmission rebuilds, and electrical system troubleshooting.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts: Remove and replace faulty components such as belts, hoses, filters, and bearings to restore vehicle performance and reliability.
  • Conduct inspections: Perform comprehensive inspections to assess the condition of vehicles and identify potential problems before they escalate.
  • Follow safety protocols: Adhere to safety standards and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Document work performed: Keep accurate records of services provided, parts used, and hours worked to maintain clear documentation and facilitate efficient workflow.
  • Provide excellent customer service: Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, provide estimates, and address any concerns they may have about their vehicles.
  • Work collaboratively: Coordinate with other members of the automotive team, including service advisors, parts specialists, and fellow mechanics, to ensure timely completion of repairs and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain tools and equipment: Keep tools clean, organized, and in good working condition. Report any defective equipment or safety hazards to management for prompt resolution.
Qualifications:
MUST have transportation
MUST have a valid drivers license
