Position Details:

  • Overview: Do you enjoy assisting multiple providers in procedures, learning all about a specific specialty, and getting to do a variety of tasks in different clinic settings? Join our team as a dermatology Float Medical Assistant
  • Job Title: Float CMA
  • Location: Travel to Vancouver, Longview, Gresham, or Astoria whenever needed at any time
  • Typical Schedule: Varied schedule as many as 9 hours a day to 4-5 hours a day. Mondays – Thursdays, 8am-5pm/7am-4pm, and Fridays 11am-4pm/12pm-5pm. Must be available as early as 6:00am for location updates, and have flexible schedule.
  • Wage Range CMA: $23.00 – $27.00 hourly Pay is dependent upon a combination of multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, transferable skills, business needs, and geographic market availability.

Qualifications:

  • Must be Certified as a Medical Assistant through the WA State Dept of Health
  • HS Diploma, GED; and 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent
  • Our surgical medical assistants must be comfortable in a fast paced environment; some duties include rooming and caring for patients, scribing, assisting with minor procedures or Mohs Surgeries, patient education, and daily patient tasks
  • Our surgical medical assistants must have exceptional customer service skills, be highly organized, and very detail oriented. See our mission below
