The Registered Dental Assistant role requires a hard-working individual who can also deliver a comfortable experience for our patients. The hourly wage range for this position is $18 - $25 per hour, depending on experience.

What you’ll be accountable for:
- Clinical Support: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including but not limited to, restorative, surgical, exams, and cleanings. Prepare and arrange dental instruments, materials, and medications as needed.
- Patient Care: Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and answering any questions they may have. Obtain and record patient's dental history and vital signs, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, as well as maintain compliance with all safety regulations.
- Radiography: Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as per dentist's instructions. Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety measures are followed.
- Educational Support: Instruct patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and preventive measures. Educate patients on the importance of maintaining good oral health.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage patient records, update treatment plans, and assist front office with scheduling patient appointments as needed.

Requirements:- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
- 1+ years of experience preferred
- Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state or ability to get registration after hire
- Highly organized and attentive to patients’ needs
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Must be able to explain procedures and educate patients.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and exhibit a compassionate and caring demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a diverse dental team.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of Eaglesoft Dental software program preferred
Work Environment
- This position operates in an office environment which includes working with and operating phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment.?
