Position Status: Full Time


Work Schedule:

Regular hours are Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Employees may need to adjust work hours during surge situations.

Brief Job Description:

The MRO Planner role entails managing procurement for Axxeum's repair station and maintenance operations. Duties include creating purchase requisitions, coordinating with suppliers, tracking orders, and ensuring compliance. Collaboration with internal teams, continuous improvement efforts, and forecasting material needs are essential aspects of the job.

Responsibilities:

• Create, submit, and track PRs relevant to the part 145 repair station and general maintenance operations for the Hanger. These include services from outside sources, equipment, tools, materials such as commonly used hardware and aircraft specific hardware, aircraft components, hazmat materials, as well as storage supplies (Vidmar's, storage lockers, etc.)
• Communicate with various/potential suppliers on availability of parts and/or services.
• Follow up on purchase orders to ensure delivery date accuracy.
• Shipping and receiving on behalf of partner companies.
• Check requisitions for completeness and clarity.
• Aid and train tool room attendants on Axxeum's Policies and expectations specific to their role.
• Communicate daily with Logistics, D.O.M., Procurement, Director of BD, and Accountable manager of the Part 145 Repair Station, about ways to possibly improve the efficiency of operations within the Hangar but more specifically the Part 145 Repair Station.
• Keep current and educated on all relevant FARs, Airworthiness Directives, and Service Bulletins.
• Advise ideas for revisions to and analyze the current RSQCM.
• Forecast upcoming required materials and tooling.
• Create kits for specific work orders comprised of needed tooling and materials.
• Assist with the auditing of various programs and quality clauses when required by the quality department.
• Conduct random spot checks of programs such as Tool Control, Foren Object Debris (FOD), and Material Control for compliance.
• Assist with the Measurement Device Control Program, to ensuring tools and equipment are calibrated and ready for use at the Hangar facility.
• Performs other tasks as needed
