Parkway Orthodontics is seeking a full-time Sterilization Technician to be part of our amazing team


Our goal at Parkway Orthodontics is to provide a fun environment where all patients can have a positive dental experience while providing them top-quality orthodontic care. Office Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30am – 5pm
  • Friday: 7:30am – noon


Responsibilities:

  • Run sterilization equipment to disinfect and sterilize clinical instruments.
  • Package sterilized clinical instruments for restocking.
  • Ensure sterilized clinical instruments are placed in the proper areas.
  • Keep the sterilization station clean and orderly.
  • Clean and disinfect treatment chairs and carts.
  • Deliver impression and appliances to and from the lab.
  • Perform standard maintenance on sterilization equipment and monitor sterility assurance testing strips.
  • Assist the clinical team with other duties as needed.
  • Must arrive on time and adhere to the attendance policy.
Requirements:
  • Preferred Registered or Certified Dental Assistant, but not required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidelines.
  • Knowledge and understanding of cross contamination.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Compassionate and caring attitude toward patients and parents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Expected Hours: 36 – 40 per week
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday
  • Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour depending on experience
