CDA/Associate Degree/ Bachelors Degree in Education or related field

Must Pass all 4 Clearances

Strong knowledge of educational techniques and methods for teaching young

children

Develop weekly lesson plans that are aligned with the PA Standard for Early

Childhood Education and implement age appropriate curriculum to engage,

nurture, and stimulate childrens development.

Implement STEM activities inside and outside the classroom.

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that foster social,

emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Modify the general education curriculum for students with disabilities based upon

a variety of instructional techniques and technologies.

Collaborate with parents to promote understanding of their childs growth and

development.

Maintain a classroom with STEM toys and materials to constantly promote

exploration and stimulate young minds.

Maintains a learning environment full with STEM practices and materials that

serves as a model

Conduct regular formal and/or informal parent/teacher conferences on each

childs preschool adjustment, classroom behavior, and developmental progress.

Complete child service reports semi-annually on each childs progress and give

feedback and suggestions to parents on child development.

Skills with co-workers

Interact with other teachers and administrative staff as needed.
