Hilton Marco Island is seeking a dynamic Esthetician to join the best Spa team on Marco Island

Position Purpose:

The Esthetician administers professional facial, waxing, and makeup services to guests as well as recommends appropriate daily at-home care to complement treatment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Administer facial, waxing and makeup services to our guests using the appropriate products, in appropriate portions, provided for each individual service. Effectively inform and educate guests regarding at home care. Provide flexible schedule to support the needs of the Spa business.

Properly care for equipment and tools. Inform management immediately of any faulty, missing, or malfunctioning equipment. Assist in cost controls by monitoring and using proper portions of products. Have complete knowledge of all services, upgrades and products offered including pricing. Uphold Florida State Standards of Infection Control by using methods of sanitation, disinfection and sterilization as directed by law and the Spa’s policies. Uphold Spa Management’s standards for proper room organization. Perform opening duties including shift prep work, properly clean in between services, and perform closing duties including restocking room as required. Maintain beautification of entire Spa and ALL skincare treatment rooms. Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.

Promote the Spa’s treatments, services, retail, promotions and/or discounts available. Offer service upgrade options to every guest. Uphold exact facial, waxing, and makeup protocol to Spa’s and mystery shop standards. Handle guests’ questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Empowerment to handle guest issues right then and there. Only engage in appropriate conversations with guests. Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all guests’ requests. Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.

Attend and participate all training and staff meetings for the Spa. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Florida State Skincare Specialist License

Experience:

• Minimum 260 hours of Professional Skincare School, including practical and clinical experience

Licenses or certificates:

• Florida State Skincare Specialist License
