Penick Village is looking for responsible individuals to join our great Dining Team. Dining Attendants are responsible for serving residents and visitors in a timely manner with a positive attitude in the dining services department, which include the Dining Room. Waitstaff is also responsible for the upkeep of the dining room ensuring cleanliness and neatness. As part of an interdependent team of skilled and caring people, the Dining Attendant must act in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern Penick Village, to ensure that the highest quality of resident care and safety is maintained at all times.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Making coffee and tea.
• Stocking tray line and front-line refrigerator with proper juices, milks and condiments necessary to run tray line or serve to residents.
• Take telephone calls for residents ordering meals.
• Pour coffee, hot water and ice water for tray line.
• Work each of the three tray line positions, serving either hot food, putting on cold foods and condiments, or checking trays for accuracy.
• Knowledge of the different diets used at Penick Village, as to differentiate on the tray line and be sure each resident receives the proper foods.
• Honor resident request and preferences following tray cards and select menus when working on the tray line.
• Clean up tray line area after each meal.
• Put together and assemble room/apartment trays to independent residents and pick up trays after meal service.
