Summary: 
The VP of Marketing plays a strategic role and is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing marketing strategies that align with the organization’s goals. The VP of Marketing will oversee market research, analyze consumer trends, identify target audiences, and guide marketing activities across various channels. The VP of Marketing collaborates with cross-functional teams to create and implement integrated marketing campaigns, manage brand positioning, and enhance customer experience. They monitor marketing performance, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts. The VP of Marketing stays updated on industry trends and fosters innovation to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth through effective marketing initiatives to maintain the organization’s competitive advantage in the market.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Listen and review the trends of the market and direct the market research efforts of the company.
  • Consult with other departments to guide a unified approach to customer service, distribution etc. that meets market demands.
  • Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives.
  • Develop a feasible marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation.
  • Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (product development, branding communications etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique “voice.”
  • Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR, and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.)
  • Develop strategies for how we go to market with all our consumer-facing brands.
  • Build-out a high performing marketing team (including agencies if appropriate).
  • Implement a BCI national TV program.
  • Create a robust social media presence (branding & lead gen) for all brands.
  • Create robust online (PPC) & offline (print) lead gen programs for all brands.
  • Create a solid network of strategic partnerships.
  • Directs and implements the organization’s advertising and promotional activities.
  • Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
  • Identifies new market segments that will benefit from company products.
  • Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research.
  • Maintains knowledge of emerging products and services.
  • Collaborates with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.
  • Forecasts, drafts, implements, and oversees the department’s operating budget.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
  • 10+ years’ experience as VP of Marketing or senior marketing role.
  • BS/BA in business administration, marketing, communications, or relevant field; MS/MA will be a plus.
  • National dealer/franchise & home improvement/home services experience.
  • Multi-brand building experience.
  • National TV buying experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods.
  • Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (i.e., social media) and non-digital (i.e., press) channels.
  • Understanding of different business disciplines (IT, finance etc.)
  • A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
