Inventory & Logistics Associate

restor3d enables surgeons to improve the reconstruction and repair of the human body through 3D printed implants with enhanced anatomical fit and superior integrative properties. Leveraging expertise and experience in 3D printing of key biomedical materials spanning a wide range of properties, restor3d seeks to improve medical device solutions. The Inventory & Logistics Specialist role will assist in the day to day tasks related to ensuring our customers are satisfied and administrative duties are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
This role will be responsible for
Duties and responsibilities
- Assisting with coordinating shipping and logistics of all Patient Specific Devices and accompanying off-the-shelf trays and implants.
- Tracking all shipments daily and troubleshooting delivery issues to ensure timely delivery.
- Facilitating shipping and logistics of all instrument trays, marketing materials, demo items, lab equipment, and other items as requested for cases, trade shows, meeting, etc.
- Processing and restocking all orders and inventory consignment requests and working with the shipping technician to ensure all orders are properly picked, packed, and shipped on time.
- Managing the movement of inventory in the field as needed to accommodate shortages without creating additional shortages.
- Ensuring that any obsolete or expired product is removed from the field and the inventory room and scrapped per the Quality SOP. This will require significant coordination with sales representatives.
- Processing all one-off inventory consignment requests and working with the shipping technician to ensure all orders are properly picked, packed, and shipped on time.

- Working with the Quality Department to process all inventory returns in a timely manner.
- Maintaining order in the Finished Goods Inventory Room, including coordinating the release of new products into Finished Goods and properly dispositioning them to their specific location
- Facilitating and processing all returns of consignment order, demo materials, lab materials, and other items as requested.
- Answering the door and accepting deliveries, when needed.
- Other Administrative duties, as needed (answer the phone, scanning, filing, etc).
- Backfilling other Customer Service Associates duties as needed to accommodate absences.
Qualifications and experience
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work
- Self-starter able to function at a high level with general instruction
- Team-oriented, can-do attitude and desire to be productive contributor to overall organization
- Learns quickly and can change course quickly when needed
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Detail oriented
- Willingness to accept and execute changes in job responsibilities (IE new software introduction, etc)
- Ability to multitask
- Willingness to handle last minute requests and ability to think quickly and make decisions required to accommodate these requests
- Ability to work with effectively with others internally and externally IE sales reps
- Willingness to handle occasional after hours and/or weekend emergencies
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in Inventory Management and Logistics preferred
- Med Device Start Up experience preferred
