Job DescriptionJob Description

The Swift Group is looking for a Graphic Designer to provide expert graphic design and multi-media support. The ideal candidates will be responsible for creating a wide range of visual materials, including flyers, posters, logos, templates, and complex visuals for marketing and branding purposes. Additionally, candidates will offer multi-media support in areas such as video production, animation, story-boarding, illustrations, web design, and installations. This role requires working closely with our interdisciplinary team to execute design projects under minimal supervision. This position is located in McLean, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce visual materials for print, presentation, installation, and digital display, including charts, graphs, flow diagrams, infographics, illustrations, brochures, logos, and exhibit designs.
  • Develop and maintain a production schedule based on client objectives and expectations.
  • Facilitate virtual and in-person design concept meetings with clients and stakeholders.
  • Use professional industry standards for design, color, and typography.
  • Adhere to company standards for design, production, and product handling.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest versions of Adobe applications and explore innovative uses to benefit our projects.
  • Support event coordination and related design needs.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience providing graphic design and presentation support for senior leadership.
  • Strong experience in brand management and outreach activities.
  • Expertise in creating mission-related infographics, charts, and briefings.
  • Experience developing marketing materials including logos, posters, brochures, and templates.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Media Encoder, Audition, Premiere Pro, Acrobat Pro).
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in web design, development, or publishing.
  • Ability to facilitate design concept meetings effectively.
  • Background in graphic design or a related field.
  • Knowledge of color theory, typography, and visualization concepts.
  • Strong creative and technical skills.
  • Customer service and project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related arts major.
