Production Harvest

Caviness Beef Packers has been family owned and operated for over "60 Years" and is currently led by 2nd and 3rd generation family members. Since 1962, Caviness has remained one of the most relationship oriented companies in the beef industry. The business has grown from harvesting a handful of cattle, in the early days, to 2900 head processed each day. Today, the company operates two processing locations and markets products worldwide.

Overview

Employee must be willing and able to work in different aspects of the beef packing industry. Ability to work in hot/humid conditions and stand for the entire shift. In addition, you will be required to wear all PPE and follow food and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Cut, trim, skin, sort, and wash carcass in preparation for further processing.
• Use tools and machinery including, but not limited to, knives, wrap products, scales, grinders, and other hand or power tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to work around blood and other strong odors.
• Ability to perform repetative motion using your hands/arms/wrist
• Ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects
• Must be able to wear all PPE for job requirement
• Must follow all food and safety protocols
