Shift Differentials:
  • 2nd shift: +$2.00/hr
  • 3rd shift: +$4.00/hr
  • Weekends: +$2.00/hr

Current Openings:

  • Full-Time, 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm, 32 hrs/wk, M-F and every other weekend
  • Part-Time, 3rd shift 11pm-7:30am, various weekdays/weekend
  • Part-Time; 1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm, every other weekend

Position Requirements:

EDUCATION: Valid State of Connecticut license as Registered Nurse.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 years experience in long-term care, preferably with the elderly. Familiar with Federal, State and local nursing home regulations.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language clearly
  • Must be able to relate to the elderly in a dignified manner and build a relationship with residents that are positive and supportive.
  • Competent use of equipment such as mechanical lifts, scales, and assistive mobility devices.
  • Must be physically able to lift and carry moderately heavy loads and walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Working knowledge of computers and ability to learn and utilize electronic documentation.
  • Must possess leadership and supervisory ability with strong team work willingness and aptitude.
