Golf Course Mechanic Manager

Overview: The Golf Course Mechanic Manager at Homestead Golf Club is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all equipment utilized on the golf course. This includes but is not limited to, mowers, tractors, aerators, and utility vehicles. The role requires a thorough understanding of mechanical systems, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Equipment Maintenance:

   • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all golf course equipment.
   • Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify any issues or potential failures.
   • Coordinate with staff to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced according to manufacturer guidelines.
   • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment history.

2. Repairs:

   • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with golf course equipment.
   • Perform or oversee repairs and adjustments as needed to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
   • Coordinate with outside vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance.
