Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee our operations in Waco, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, training, and leading team members to achieve sales, cost, and profitability objectives while ensuring excellent guest service and food quality. Our concept is simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community can enjoy home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Our menu offers breakfast and many other comfort food classics, and our entire menu is offered all day long. Overall Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure high standards in guest service and food quality.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost control measures.
  • Analyze Profit and Loss statements and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Develop and post labor schedules, adjusting to sales volume changes.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
  • Handle hiring, promotions, payroll processing, and maintaining applicant tracking.
  • Protect company assets and adhere to control procedures.
  • Lead, train, and motivate staff to ensure efficiency and high morale.
  • Implement local store marketing initiatives.


What you bring to the table:

  • A High School Diploma is required; some college is preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of restaurant General Manager experience in full-service casual dining.
  • Must be ServSafe certified.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Strong understanding of P&L analysis, cash controls, and food cost calculations.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex issues.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in computer-based programs and systems, including Excel and Word.
  • Valid drivers license and current car insurance.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test.
