We are currently seeking a skilled and caring Nurse Tech (STNA) to join our dynamic team for our day shift (7am - 7pm) and night shift (7pm – 7am).   As a Nurse Tech (STNA) at New Day Recovery you will play a crucial role in the delivery of client care. Under the supervision of licensed nurses, you will assist in providing comprehensive nursing care to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include providing basic nursing care, monitoring patient’s vital signs, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report changes in clients' vital signs, symptoms, and conditions.
  • Assist in the mobility and transportation of clients.
  • Maintain a clean and safe client environment, including infection control measures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide holistic client care.
  • Document client care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.


Qualifications:

  • State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Compassion and dedication to providing exceptional client care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required.
