Dental Assistant Position

We are an upscale private prosthodontic dental practice with an immediate opening for a full time expanded functions dental assistant with a can do attitude We are looking for the right person to join our team. Primary Job Duties Include:

  • Assist with Dental treatments as instructed
  • Follow office policies and systems
  • Take and record dental histories and patient records
  • Prepare instruments; clean treatment areas; sterilize equipment
  • Responsible for patient flow, keeping treatment rooms & lab neat and organized
  • Instruct patients in oral hygiene
  • Being accountable and reliable
  • Manage supply inventory
  • Front Office Support, including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, maintaining files, as needed

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced assistant, able to perform 4 handed dentistry
  • Comfortable with knowing or learning cutting edge techniques
  • A person that has the desire to develop and excel
  • Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • Must be articulate and patient-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
  • Reliable and prompt; available for at least 35 hours per week
  • Works well in a TEAM environment, with humor, enthusiasm and joyful consideration of everyone in the practice
  • Resides within 35 minutes of our office.
