Dock lead is responsible for timely and accurate loading/unloading of trucks, effective communication with team and drivers, keeping a safe/clean and organized workspace and carrying out any additional tasks assigned by the leadership team.

Responsibilities
Works with the office team to bill/PRO freight and maintain daily delivery/pickup schedule.
Keeping the dock area clean, organized and safe.
Loading/unloading trucks accurately and in a quality manner.
Checking inbound shipments into WMS system.
Offers suggestions/solutions for optimizing efficiencies within the dock area.
. Communicates with the team to manage dock flow and avoid unnecessary congestion.

Job Requirements
Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Experience with a WMS system.
Exceptional forklift operating skills.
Flexible break times based on daily load schedule.
Experience handling BOLs and other shipping documentation.
Strong communication skills and team mentality.
