  • Assist the machine operator with starting, stopping, and adjusting machinery to ensure smooth operation.
  • Monitor machine performance and output to identify any irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Help prepare and set up machinery for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and consistency, following established standards and procedures.
  • Report any defects or issues to the machine operator and assist in troubleshooting and resolving problems.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products.
  • Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed (training may be provided).
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs, including quantities produced, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
  • Provide regular updates to the machine operator and other team members regarding production progress and any concerns.
  • Work closely with the machine operator and other team members to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, and operational standards.
Assistant Machine Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation environment is preferred but not required.
  • Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot simple equipment issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.
Pay for Assistant Machine Operator: Starting at $18.25/hour.Assistant Machine Operator Benefits:
