Program Planning and Implementation:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead organizational efforts to develop, implement, and evaluate community health programs and health equity initiatives. Ensure ongoing programmatic excellence by aligning initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Needs Assessment: By assessing community needs, identify gaps and tailor programs accordingly.
  • Educational Offerings: Manage Accessia Health's educational portfolio, curating webinars and partnering with reputable speakers and thought leaders to expand the organizations portfolio of education opportunities.
  • State Partnerships: Oversee and expand state partnerships, ensuring that contractual obligations are met, and underserved populations are reached effectively.
  • Measurement and Reporting: Establish robust measurement systems to track program impact, prepare quarterly reports with evaluation metrics, showcasing program success.
  • Grant Procurement: Collaborating with Grant Writers, the Program Manager seeks and secures grants to support community programs and patient education.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Project Management: Partner with staff to maintain consistent, high-quality project management practices.
  • Program Management: Developing and maintaining program documentation, such as project plans, schedules, communications plans, etc. Identifying resource constraints, risks, and conflicts with potential impact to project deliverables. Providing successful program management while balancing multiple priorities
  • Building Relationships: Cultivate professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, cross-functional leads, including community leaders from diverse backgrounds to manage program scope, plan resources, coordinate schedules, and facilitate communication.
  • Public Liaison: Maintain communication between Accessia Health and the public.

Leadership and Expertise:

  • Intern Supervision: Mentor and directly supervise interns with health and human services backgrounds.
  • Public Health Consultation: Provide expertise, consultation, and assistance in public health, solving program-related challenges. Coordinates activities for program trend analysis, projections and problem solving
  • Resource Planning: Recommend timelines and resource allocation to ensure program goals are met effectively.

Desired Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, community health, health policy or other related field and at least four years of experience leading community-based initiatives.
  • A keen understanding of proven approaches to improve public health and best practices implementing community programs
  • Fundraising experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders including advisory groups, coalitions, forums, trade associations, foundations, corporate sponsors, and practitioner groups.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of management.
  • Proven track record of program management and relationship building
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must be tactful and discrete with an ability to effectively problem solve and maintain cohesive relationships when resolving conflict.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - persuasive, credible, and polished communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of organizational and management practices as applied to the analysis and evaluation of programs, policies, and operational needs.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
