Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor & Delivery Driver

Job Description:

Our company is seeking a motivated and skilled individual to fill the position of Warehouse Supervisor & Delivery Driver. This is a dual role position that requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, coordinating delivery logistics, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Supervision:
- Effectively manage warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing goods efficiently.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and manage inventory control processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective strategies to optimize warehouse operations.

2. Delivery Logistics:
- Plan and coordinate daily delivery schedules, assigning delivery routes to drivers and ensuring timely delivery of goods to clients.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including receipts, invoices, and proof of delivery.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance and perform routine checks to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition.
- Communicate with clients to confirm delivery details, address any concerns, and maintain excellent customer service standards.
- Coordinate with the sales team to plan and prioritize deliveries based on client requirements and business objectives.

3. Delivery Driving:
- Drive company vehicles to transport goods from the warehouse to client locations safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods, utilizing proper handling techniques to prevent damage.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
- Adhere to traffic laws, follow delivery schedules, and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients and the general public.
- Report any delays, accidents, or incidents immediately to the Warehouse Manager.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet physical demands associated with loading, unloading, and driving.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery route planning is preferred.
- Prior experience in a similar dual role position is an advantage.
