Summary

As a Technical project manager, you will provide leadership and management of projects (both internal & external client) from a project management perspective. Provide product expertise, client demonstrations, client account and sales team support. This position performs a lead role in the design, definition, build, and implementation phases for technology solutions. Primary responsibilities include client requirements and process documentation; profitability analysis; product strategies; product enhancement projects; and release management leadership.


You’ll spend your days on the following:

  • Liaison with internal customers and clients relating to current product capabilities, customization opportunities, and marketing strategies
  • Leads the collection, documentation, and prioritization of new development opportunities
  • Directs project teams to follow repeatable project management methodologies
  • During program delivery, support the program launch process with consultation and Change Orders for enhancements as applicable based on client requests and ensure ROI models are analyzed
  • Collaborates with internal customers and clients to prioritize and schedule operational tasks and development opportunities
  • Secures, manages, and maintains relationships with key internal team members, external partners, and client representatives
  • Manages tasks, dependencies, communications, timelines, and budgets for short- and long-term projects
  • Directs profitability analysis for each initiative to ensure pricing models are accurate
  • Supports recurring training or technical marketing of product to the sales team, leadership, and key business stakeholders
  • Updates project dashboards and other project documentation
  • Participates with client pre-sale meetings, requirement gathering; product test and implementation planning sessions
  • Serve as subject matter expert and support the sales process with demonstrations and product capability presentations
  • Supports and project manages entire solution development process including appropriate products and services based on requirements, program measurement recommendations, business case/ROI modeling, program costing and estimation completion. Responsible for executing test plans and the quality of the project deliverables to production implementation
  • Assist in support tasks as needed, including defect research, prioritization, and solution recommendations
  • Maintain pace with industry trends for competitive products; understand competitive advantages with the ability to articulate to clients/business leaders
  • Maintains relationship with providers to understand the technical interface of services or solutions
  • As assigned, lead system migration projects, map existing system capabilities to new system capabilities, and support the Business Development team with client value propositions

  • Ability to build and maintain timelines, budgets, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Writing and speaking skills – ability to “sell” an IT solution concept in writing or by presenting
  • Curious, problem solver with ability to “jump in” and figure out complex solutions, software

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 3 years of Project Management experience, or associate’s degree and a minimum of 5 years Project Management experience
  • 5 years industry or project management experience
  • Incentive industry knowledge and understanding of industry best practices a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office systems and applications
  • Experience with Jira and SmartSheets a plus
