Barrett Petfood Innovations is a family-owned and operated company that cares about each individual they employ. We make Premium pet foods starting with the wholesome ingredients straight from the family farm. We are growing fast and have many opportunities for advancement.

This position will be Cross Trained in different areas of the plant. This Key position is fulltime and is also responsible as a backup operator for the production equipment of the plant.

Job Duties:

  •  Day-to-day operation of the plant
  • Work with the Plant Production team to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Setup, Operation of, and cleaning of the extruder used for petfood production.
  •  Inspection of product to make sure it is meeting customer specifications, density, and size.
  • Operation of dryer and testing of kibble.
  • Operations of the Vertical Cooler, mixing and adding palletants to kibble.
  •  troubleshoot equipment to ensure product is within specifications.
  • Clean under and around plant machinery

Job Requirements:

  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to obtain Fork/Truck license.
  • Forklift experience is required.
  • Follow GMP’s and safety protocols.
  • Great trouble-shooting skills
  • Computer literate
  • Team effort and communication
  • Willing and able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Attention to detail and desire to clean is a must.
  • Mechanically inclined

Hours: 2nd Shift

  • Monday - Friday
  • 3rd Shift: 10pm- 6:30am

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $23.00 per hour
