The organizational change manager must be an expert in leading and executing change aligned with corporate strategy and operational processes. They must analyze the current environment, define future state, create comprehensive change plans, and manage resources. The practitioner will develop communication plans, training materials, and reward packages while evaluating and reporting progress against plans. They should also have a background in technical and operational requirements development.

Responsibilities:

  • Extensive experience and proficiency in large-scale, multi-phase change and transformation.
  • Comfort working across multiple disciplines and adapting to strategic pivots.
  • Expertise in communications, training, behavior, engagement, and stakeholder management.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication and strong facilitation and training skills.
  • Functioning as a change expert within a team of senior corporate experts, executive planners, and project managers.

Impactful Duties:

  • Creating information and messages tailored to mission and corporate audiences
  • Facilitating information and data-gathering sessions
  • Analyzing progress and pain points to recommend courses of action
  • Guiding strategy, performance, process, resource, data, and technical transformation
  • Leading and creating strategic communications and training efforts for the team

Qualifications:

  • A master's degree is preferred.
  • Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the following areas:
  • Change management: comprehensive planning, scheduling, and performance evaluation to track progress against plans.
  • Tool Development: implementing tools or web applications to develop methods for gathering, assessing, evaluating, reporting, and presenting data.
  • Stakeholder engagement: designing solicitation approaches, collecting and consolidating feedback, and deriving meaningful insights through assessment.
  • Transformation integration: aligning strategic, operational, and technical frameworks and plans into integrated plans and schedules.
  • Project management: Program, Planning, and Budget Execution (PPBE) process.
  • Communications: designing, developing, and delivering compelling communication products.
  • Technical writing for CONOPS, OPS Plans, and Requirements.
  • Experience in a mission-focused setting in defense and intelligence, certification in Change Management, knowledge of agile technical project planning and innovation life cycles, and familiarity with NGA Source Operations and Management Directorate's mission and functions are also essential.
