Job Overview:
As a CNC Machinist, you will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing process, utilizing your exceptional programming skills to create accurate and high-quality parts. You will be responsible for independently programming and operating CNC machines based on DXF files provided by our engineering team. Responsibilities:
Independently program CNC machines using DXF files supplied by the engineering department.
Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring they are calibrated and running efficiently.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor the machining process, making necessary adjustments to maintain the highest level of precision and quality.
Inspect finished parts to verify their compliance with design specifications and make any required adjustments.
Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and suggest improvements.
Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CNC programming, G-code, and CAD/CAM software.
Strong understanding of DXF files and the ability to generate CNC programs from engineering drawings.
Extensive knowledge of machine setup, tooling, and machining processes.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain precise tolerances.
Solid problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications or relevant vocational training is a plus.
