The Team Lead is responsible for gaining actionable insights to help optimize the talents of their employees and their productivity. In this role, a Team Lead will provide guidance, effective training, and management strategies that yield higher levels of performance for their team.


This position operates in a professional office environment. Onsite at the various hospital locations that HRS is currently staffed. You will have a home base which will be determined at time of hire.


As a Team Lead your job duties will include:

  • Train existing and new employees in topics such as quality, professional standards, and team language.
  • Train staff on computer systems (FACS and Epic) all coding and documenting requirements of both systems.
  • Coach and mentor staff in all aspects of their jobs
  • Train staff in correct completion of FAA’s
  • Train staff on completion and submission of Medicaid applications
  • Train staff on the process of screening a patient for Medicaid
  • Research and follow up on account or process problems to identify and solve root causes.
  • Lead a team of on-sites and determine goals or objectives. Handle team inquiries.
  • Create an inspiring team environment with a culture that allows for open communication
  • Set clear team goals
  • Oversee day-to-day operations along with Manager
  • Monitor team performance and report observations and develop process improvement plan
  • Motivate team member
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching
  • Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts, be a liaison between staff and upper management
  • Recognize high performance and reward accomplishment
  • Encourage creativity
  • Suggest and organize team building activities
Requirements:
  • Three to five years of experience in an administrative role preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Good PC skills, especially MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Decision-making skills

This position requires:

  • Flexibility in being able to move from location to another with little or no notice
  • Flexibility with schedule
  • Communicating with others to exchange information
  • Good attendance
  • Keeping lines of communication open between staff and Management regardless of opinion
