Join the CTCU team Community Trust Credit Union (CTCU) is looking for a Loan Clerk with wonderful communication skills, customer service and attention to detail to work full-time at our Gurnee branch. We are looking for individuals, just like you to be available Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Our full-time employees typically work about 38 to 40 hours per week.

The Loan Clerk is responsible for assisting members with their loans including auto loans and mortgage loans while managing collateral for all current and paid off loans. Responsible for maintaining the integrity of all member information and documentation while ensuring credit union has proper insurance on all secure loans.

Basic Expectations for Loan Clerk:

• Certify file integrity of all member information including dates, signatures, documentation, confidential data, and security.
• Manage CPI (collateral protection insurance) program to ensure credit union has proper insurance on all secure loans including working with dealership and members.
• Keep files and documentation organized and adhere to credit union policies and procedures.
• Assume additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of the credit union and individual, and any other duties as assigned by management.

Some of the things we look for in a Loan Clerk are:

• Spectacular communication skills via in-person, over the phone, and email.
• Attention to detail and highly organized.
• Previous financial institute experience preferred.
• Ability to navigate/operate a PC in a Windows based system with ease.
