General Anesthesiologist with OB Proficiency
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
An expanding practice in the Lakeland, Florida area is seeking a skilled and dedicated General Anesthesiologist with proficiency in obstetrics to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia services across a diverse range of cases, including OB, regional, thoracic, vascular, neuro, trauma, and outpatient procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, with a focus on obstetrics.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period.
- Collaborate closely with surgical and medical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in on-call rotations and maintain a favorable call schedule.
- Provide medical supervision as needed, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
- Proficiency in obstetric anesthesia techniques.
- Ability to obtain or currently hold a Florida medical license (not mandatory for application).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
