JOB TITLE: Human Resources Manager HR – R24-047
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administers and maintains company benefits including retirement plan, medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life, disability, pet, accident and critical illness insurance plans.
- Administers business insurance plans to include audits, payments and coordination with management.
- Performs onboarding including I-9, E-Verify, benefits and company compliance forms.
- Performs offboarding in coordination with other departments.
- Performs payroll preparation, handling all changes and error issues in coordination with TPA.
- Works closely with Finance department regarding payroll and employee Fringe accounts.
- Performs required annual filings (EEOC, Veteran, pay data, state programs, etc.).
- Maintains company personnel files in-house and in HRIS.
- Maintains company accounts for various states involving withholding, unemployment insurance, family leave and disability.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of employment-related compliance laws and regulations in different states.
- Maintains and coordinates disability and workers’ compensation insurance claims.
- Administers COBRA insurance plans.
- Maintains knowledge of HR trends, best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Educates employees on HR-related topics and developments.
- Draft company wide announcements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Security Clearance: Candidate must be clearable
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS software and insurance vendor websites.
- In-depth knowledge of standard insurance topics and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of employees.
- Experience managing Open Enrollment Process
- BA/BS in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of HR experience with mid-to-large-size company.
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's Degree in Human Resources, or Business Administration.
- iSolve Experience
- Active Security Clearance Preferred
