Key Responsibilities
- Safe handling & restraint of animals
- Obtain vital signs & medical history
- Assist in performing diagnostics
- Dispense and administer medications and preventatives
- Maintain case files and communications
- Cleaning and restocking exam rooms, treatment, and kennel areas
- Ability to communicate with all types of people in all situations
- Comfort, support, and educate pet owners
- Effective communication with your team
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- LVT preferred OR 3+ years of progressive experience
- Extensive surgical monitoring and training are a must
- Ability to set up and read ear cytology, fecal, and run labwork (Heska exp a plus)
- Take x-rays with accuracy
