Machine Operator

As a Packaging Machine Operator (also known as Production Technician, Equipment Operator), you'll be responsible for operating and understanding various packaging machinery including palletizers, strapping machines, wrapping machines, and forklifts. You'll ensure the overall flow of production, perform short-cycle, repetitive operations, and maintain set patterns of products to achieve high-quality output that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

• High school diploma or equivalent. Some post-secondary education preferred (i.e., Technical or Vocational education).
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift operator certified or ability to pass forklift skills test.
• Strong mathematical ability and data entry skills.
• Ability to visually distinguish fine variations in color and other product defects.
• Proficiency in packaging experience, machine setups for production runs, and operation of palletizers and forklifts.
