Responsibilities of an Infant / Toddler Teacher include:
- Co-lead a classroom of eight infant or toddlers
- Work closely as a teaching team to individualize the curriculum to meet the children’s needs
- Support children’s social and emotional needs
- Complete developmental assessments and screenings
- Complete home visits (twice per year) and parent teacher conferences
- Work as a teaching team to complete parent/teacher conference and home visits
- Encourage and support parent involvement in the classroom
- Create a safe and healthy learning environment
- Supervise the safety of the children in care
- Communicate with coworkers and families in a warm and professional manner

Other preferred qualifications;
- Bilingual - Spanish, Arabic, Amharic, or Somali (a plus)
- Experience with the Montessori philosophy (a plus)
