Duties/Responsibilities:

The position is responsible for coordinating with the customer service representative (CSR) and logistics team members in preparing documents to ship which will include but not limited to: pick list and shipping confirmations within our accounting system and customer portals. Shipments will include in our warehouse and direct shipment to Customer Site. The individual utilizes enterprise resource planning (ERP) or other systems to record and track all shipping transactions. Troubleshoots shipping delays or changes with carriers and communicates to CSR(s) any issues. Ensure required documents per the Customer's request are included in shipments. The selected individual will record in accounting system all items shipped and then process invoices to customer upon delivery of our product(s).

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum one year experience working as a billing analyst.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience/proficiency in at least one accounting software suite.
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with employees, management, and external people.
  • Working knowledge of basic mathematical principles.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Willingness to collaborate with other professionals and departments within the company.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working for a government contractor.
  • College coursework in Accounting principles.
