Mosaic Pharmacy Service is seeking a highly competent, customer focused Staff Pharmacist for a new and exciting opportunity. Mosaic is a closed-door pharmacy that will be providing multi-dose robotic packaging for patients in multiple states. The staff pharmacist will be working closely with the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to ensure safety, accuracy and a great customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities and assessing allergies
- Dispenses medications by packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals to meet all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluates and monitors drug therapy regimens for adverse effects, drug interactions and allergies
- Counsels patients on their medications and offers expertise in the safe use of prescriptions
- Provides direct supervision for Pharmacy Technicians and support personnel
- Collaborates with clinical staff, providers and other health care professionals regarding any medication related issues
- Complies with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures
- Assist PIC with managing day to day pharmacy operations and workflows
- Assist in motivating, developing and inspiring the pharmacy team to work together towards achieving Mosaic Pharmacy Service goals while ensuring quality, patient safety and satisfaction.
