Overview

SUMMARY: Support and service arcade, gaming, and amusement areas in center that require installation, rotation, repair, replacement and preventive maintenance of equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.

  • Using hand tools, repair and maintain arcade games, laser tag equipment, and various amusement
  • Perform preventative maintenance on arcade games, laser tag equipment and various amusements
  • Assist in the selection and presentation of prizes at the redemption counters/stores/prize hubs, determining the merchandise to be bought and stocked
  • Determining the techniques to be used, the type of materials, supplies, machinery, equipment or tools to be used to repair arcade games, laser tag equipment, and various amusements
  • Support center staff in various repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Installation of new game rooms
  • Washes and sanitizes contact surfaces in arcade and gaming area.
  • Empties trash canisters in arcade and gaming areas as needed.
  • Follows all company safety and security operating standards;
  • Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays, as well as, extended workdays to support business needs
  • Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS: The Arcade Technician possess a highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including high integrity, respect for all individuals (customers, vendors, and employees), solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation of diversity (thought, ethnic, gender, etc.).

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Guest service experience a plus but not a requirement.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Bowling center environment where you will walk, bend and stand for periods of time, and may be asked to occasionally lift objects with some assistance. The noise level is typical for bowling.
