Responsibilities


  • Cost Analysis: Perform comprehensive cost analysis by examining financial data, cost structures, and pricing models. Identify key cost drivers, variances, and trends, and offer recommendations for cost reduction and optimization.
  • Budget and Forecast Planning: Partner with the supply chain team to develop and manage budget assumptions for cost of goods, transportation, and logistics, ensuring accurate and effective planning.
  • Financial Reporting: Create regular financial reports, including cost reports and variance analyses, to track performance against budgets and targets. Communicate significant findings and insights to management, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Cost Estimation and Analysis: Provide accurate cost estimates for new products, projects, or initiatives to support decision-making processes. Analyze financial risks, returns, and profitability to assist in evaluating investment opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, procurement, and senior management, to collect relevant data, align objectives, and ensure precise cost analysis and reporting.
  • Supply Chain Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data (including co-manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics) to identify trends, patterns, and performance metrics.
  • Reporting and Dashboard Generation: Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and cost savings, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Process Evaluation: Assess existing supply chain processes, systems, and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Invoice Discrepancy Resolution: Diagnose and resolve invoice discrepancies across all copackers to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Spend Analysis: Conduct spend analyses for contract bids, price increases, and other financial considerations, providing insights to guide decision-making.
  • Volume Requirements Planning: Utilize production plans, demand forecasts, and upside files to understand and manage necessary volume requirements.


Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in analytics, planning, supply chain, logistics, or procurement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • Proven ability to run meetings and coordinate information across various levels and departments.
  • Hands-on experience in planning/supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with SAP.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong internal and external communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of management, copackers, and customers.
