DUTIES: Under the direction of the Streets/Solid Waste/Storm Drain Superintendent, the Senior Stormwater Inspector will provide technical, professional, and administrative support to the stormwater program as mandated by State and Federal regulations. Assists the Streets/Solid Waste/Storm Drain Superintendent and coordinates with the City Engineer in the implementation of the Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP). Also assists with the implementation of new requirements relating to the stormwater management programs. Coordinate efforts to reduce stormwater pollution that will promote human health, safety and well-being. Perform a variety of working level tasks, inspections, code compliance, and technical duties as needed to assure infrastructure projects are constructed in compliance with established local, state and federal construction standards, particularly those related to air and water quality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. AND

Experience: Five (5) years experience working with Phase II Stormwater regulation. AND

License/Certificate: Requires a valid Utah Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Certified Registered Storm Water Inspector (RSI) License.

Other Requirements: Must reside within 30 minutes of City limits for on-call purposes. Employee can take up to 6 months to relocate within appropriate response time area.

SALARY: $25.05 $40.08 per hour depending on experience.

SCHEDULE: 40+ hours per week. M-F, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Evenings, holidays, and weekends may be required.
