Construction Site Foreman

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, & hardworking site foreman to join our construction team to lead in the preparation of sites, installation of drainage, utilities, curbing, etc.

Candidates should be detail oriented and display team spirit. Candidate should be physically fit and be able to work long hours in all weather conditions, possible weekend work, holiday, or night work may be required.

Construction Site Foreman Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma and three (3) years of experience in heavy construction in the civil construction industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction of highways and roads, site work, or other related fields
  • General knowledge of construction survey terminology that is involved in heavy civil construction projects. Familiar with wide variety of heavy highway and survey practices and principles.
  • Experience working in a "self-perform" multi-trade project environment
  • Ability to lead and work with a variety of personalities
  • Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to delegate work

Construction Site Foreman Requirements:

  • Ability to lead a team
  • Ability to stand for extended hours of time
  • Ability to use a grade laser
  • Ability to set grades and layout
  • GPS/GNSS experience a plus
  • B2W Field Software or ability to learn a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and schedules
  • Excellent communication and observation skill
  • Familiar with use of power and hand tools
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Must have a strong work ethic
  • Have or be able to obtain OSHA 10 certification
  • Reports to Project Management Team

Work Schedule

  • Monday thru Friday 6:30am to 3:30pm
  • Occasional Weekend/Night work available based on projects
  • Most work done in the peak construction season of Spring thru Fall
  • Overtime available and based on project schedule or needs

Compensation

  • Paid weekly
  • Earning Potential $90K to $105K per year
