TRISTAR is seeking an Sr. HR Specialist (CDS)) for our government customer located in Crane, IN

Position Description:

• The Senior HR Specialist (CDS) will lead corporate Career Competency Development (CCD) Programs for NSWC Crane
• Will be the primary interface for the non-technical competency programs (Contracting, Financial, Product Support & Logistics, etc) and will reside as a back-up for the Scientist & Engineering competency development program

Position Responsibilities:

• Create/update/enhance competency development programs
• Identify skills required for each level of competency
• Provide plans for trainings, experiences, and other development opportunities to aid in attaining journeyman level knowledge in their career field

Position Responsibilities:

• 7-10 years of related experience
• Ability to assess program effectiveness via focus group discussions consisting of graduates, participants, stakeholders (managers, leads, etc), which requires the ability to prepare/present
• Responsible for stakeholder communication and implementation of all competency development program changes
• Maintain CCD updates in Waypoints
• Collaborate with other HR groups to develop a dashboard or other visual management tools for monthly reporting
• Collaborate with Crane Division University to recommend/or create new courses to support competency requirements
• Thorough knowledge of:
• MS Excel (advanced skill level) Word, PowerPoint
• Ability to research CCD models to make sound recommendations for program enhancements
• High attention to detail and very organized
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a T3 Clearance

Education and Certification:

• Masters preferred
