We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Traveling Drywall Carpenter to join our dynamic team.Job Description:As a Traveling Drywall Carpenter at Revels Contracting, Inc., you will be responsible for traveling to various job sites to perform drywall installation, finishing, and repairs. This role requires a high level of skill, precision, and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently in different environments. You will be a key part of our construction team, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- This job requires 100% travel during the week. You would typically, but not always, be home on weekends.
- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels according to project specifications.
- Tape and finish drywall joints, corners, and seams.
- Perform repairs on damaged drywall surfaces.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Drywall Carpenter or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of drywall installation and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work in different locations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
