Job DescriptionJob Description

Your traveler will be expected to:

  • Work independently within two weeks of start date AND in a team setting
  • Obtain blood specimens
  • Maintain knowledge of specific specimen requirements
  • Follow correct order of draw based upon tube type and special handling of tests
  • Utilize proper resources for obtaining specimen requirement information
  • Collect and enter off-site blood work into system
  • Complete and process a variety of forms
  • Obtain pre-authorization and patient signature
  • Prepare specimens for in-lab testing or off-site shipment
  • Ensure blood-drawing stations are clean and well stocked

Requirement description :
  • 2+ years phlebotomy experience - Required
  • Successful completion of travel assignment - Required
  • No certification is required for this role

Weekend Requirements : Every third weekend and rotating holidays
