Job Summary

This position involves assisting the Network Administrator on installation and maintenance of network devices within the GA network, including switches and wireless access points. This individual will provide office and warehouse support for all PC’s, printers, and other hardware. Travel will be required to assist other GA sites as needed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Setup and installation of hardware and software of new IT systems and printers.

· Coordinate maintenance of PC’s, printers and other hardware with vendors.

· Work on server and networking projects.

· Work with the Network Administrator for server and network environment management, support, and backups.

· Work with the Network Administrator in identifying, evaluating, and implementing hardware and software solutions.

· Performs other duties related to IT.

Requirements:


· Proficient in Windows Server 2012 and later including Active Directory, DNS, and Office 365.

· Working knowledge of firewalls, and VPN.

· Experience in network connectivity including switches, wireless access points, and network cabling.

· Professional IT certifications such as A+, Net+, Microsoft MCP are a plus.

· Diagnosis skills of technical issues.

· Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.

· Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately.

· Service awareness of all organization's key IT services for which support is being provided.

· Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
