Financial Analyst

Gateway has an outstanding opportunity for a Financial Analyst at our Center Township location. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing support to the Finance department, contributing to financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions.

You will collaborate with various departments to gather financial information, perform data analysis, and present findings to assist in strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and data analysis, with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting purposes.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to track financial performance and operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with other departments to support their financial needs and provide guidance on budgetary requirements.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for financial results.
• Support the preparation of board presentations and investor relations materials.
• Assist in special projects and initiatives as required by the Finance team.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
• Attends mandatory GRC trainings and in-services.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficiency in Excel, financial software (e.g., ERP systems), and data visualization tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial analysis or related role.
• Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience in a corporate finance or healthcare environment is preferred.
